The USA Today lead headline online early Tuesday morning says "Delta: Refunds over pat-downs, scans possible in rare cases." The paper says Delta Air Lines says it will consider refunds in rare case-by-case scenarios for passengers who cancel travel plans because of new airport security measures.

It says when the Obama administration rolled out its initial investment to create a high-speed rail system across the U.S. in January, the program was hailed as a pivotal piece of the most significant upgrade of the nation's transportation system since the interstate highway network.

The paper says Monday's Dancing With The Stars wasn't too surprising: Jennifer Grey was fantastic, Kyle Massey was cute and Bristol Palin tried her best.

It says just about as many Americans want Tea Party-backed members of Congress to take the lead in setting policy during the next year as choose President Obama, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.

And the most popular story on USA Today says the Minnesota Vikings fired head coach Brad Childress on Monday, one day after a 31-3 loss at home to the Green Bay Packers dropped the team to 3-7.
