The Wall Street Journal lead headline online early Friday morning says "Bernanke Takes Aim at China." The paper says Bernanke argues in remarks prepared for delivery Friday that China and other emerging markets are causing problems by keeping their currencies artificially low.

The paper says life insurers are testing a new use for data about Americans: predicting longevity. A Deloitte test evaluated applicants based on data about things like online shopping and magazine subscriptions.

It says Iran's human-rights official Mohammad-Javad Larijani gave a robust defense of his country's human-rights record.

The paper says the Irish government all but buckled to pressure to accept an international bailout, capitulating after a week of intense lobbying.

It says GM made a dramatic return to the stock market—with its shares closing 3.6% above the IPO price—following the auto maker's government-led turnaround.

And the most popular story says an estimated 24 million people will fly over the river and through the woods to grandma's house and other destinations this Thanksgiving holiday, according to the Air Transport Association.
