Obama, New VP Choice to Campaign Together Saturday

Democratic presidential contender Sen. Barack Obama will campaign with his new vice presidential pick Saturday at the place where the Illinois senator's campaign began, a report said Wednesday.
The Associated Press reported that Obama and his veep choice will appear together in Springfield, Ill., the former state capital where Abraham Lincoln once held office.
The Obama campaign has remained tight lipped about the VP selection and the event on Saturday, saying only that Obama will begin his journey to the party's national convention from there.
The convention begins in Denver, Colo. on Monday.
