No new explosive activity has occurred since the recent small explosions on October 28 and October 30, which partly destroyed the lava dome within the summit crater. Since then, no significant change has been observed at the summit crater; however, moderately elevated surface temperatures have been consistently observed in satellite imagery throughout the past week, including this morning, suggesting new lava at or near the surface.
