URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 423 NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 745 PM EDT SUN JUN 24 2012 THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL FLORIDA PENINSULA COASTAL WATERS EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING FROM 745 PM UNTIL 500 AM EDT. TORNADOES...HAIL TO 0.5 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 20 MILES NORTH OF CROSS CITY FLORIDA TO 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NAPLES FLORIDA.
